The European Digital Finance Association (EDFA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Noam Perets as its new Secretary General, marking an important step in the Association’s continued commitment to representing the voice of Europe’s digital finance sector.
Noam has been actively involved in EDFA’s work for over a year, contributing to key initiatives and supporting the Association’s mission to foster a competitive, innovative, and inclusive digital finance ecosystem across Europe. In his new role, Noam will be responsible for coordinating EDFA’s institutional relations, policy advocacy, and member engagement, ensuring continuity in the Association’s strategic direction and reinforcing its role as a constructive interlocutor with European institutions. His appointment comes at a time of growing momentum for digital finance policy, with key legislative files such as FIDA, MiCAR, and the AI Act shaping the future of the sector.
EDFA is confident that Noam’s leadership will further strengthen the Association’s capacity to represent the interests of its members, facilitate dialogue with regulators, and promote a forward-looking vision for digital finance in Europe.
